This Map & Feature service contains crash data for public roads in Florida. The data is based on “Long Form” crash data reported by law enforcement to the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (FLHSMV). Geographic coordinates were processed and verified by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT).
FLHSMV is the official custodian of traffic crash data for the State of Florida. You may visit the FLHSMV website (www.flhsmv.gov) for official crash statistics and reports. The FLHSMV website supports keyword searches.
The data is downloaded each week from DB2. The display scale has been restricted to 1:300,000 to preserve performance. Contact Daniel Teaf (850.414.5468) regarding the setup of this Map & Feature service.
